Thelma Louise Mitchell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was born to Rome Lee and Thelma Effie (Hartwick) Nelson on September 1, 1943, in Coleman, Oklahoma and passed from this life on July 11, 2024, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years.
Thelma graduated from Coleman High School in 1962 and spent most of her career in the Warehouse business in a management role. She loved sewing, genealogy, and photography.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her son, Johnny Moore and wife Cindy of Elmore City, Oklahoma; Daughter, Christina Waggaman and husband Michael of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Grandson Johnathon Blake Moore; Brother, Connie Nelson; Sister, Erma Stanley
Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Thelma Nelson; Granddaughter, Alexandria Nicole Waggaman; Grandson, Jody Craig Moore; and Sisters, Arleeta Whitmire and Ann Richardson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley with Pastor Pam Honeycutt officiating. Private interment will be in the Center Hill Cemetery in Atoka County. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 16, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
