Terry Joe Ward (TJ), 76, of Oklahoma City Oklahoma passed away on January 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Violet and Leo Ward and brother Earnest Milton Ward. Survivors include his wife Wanda Ward, his sisters Lawana Herrin and Nancy Mussett (Bill).
TJ was born on 31st of October, 1947 in Wynnewood Oklahoma. He graduated high school in 1966 and was drafted into the Army. TJ was inducted in the Army on June 5, 1967, where he completed annual training in St. Louis, Missouri then stationed at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma where he continued on to Vietnam. TJ was honorably discharged from the 4th Battalion 30th Infantry on June 4, 1969. He received three purple hearts, conduct medal of honor and many more.
TJ married Wanda Sullivan on September 15, 2003. He worked for the United States postal service where he also retired from. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing his guitar and singing. His favorite was karaoke night and going to the casino's.
Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. You may send a condolence to the family at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com .
