Shirley Lee Allen 86 of Pauls Valley entered eternal life Monday, August 01, 2022. Born Shirley Lee Turner, the daughter of Fred and Hazel (Hewett) Turner in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on July 27, 1936, Shirley had one brother and four sisters. She lived a long and fruitful life.
Shirley married Michael "Mike" Dean Allen in Owasso in February of 1955, and they had a blessed marriage until Mike preceded her in death in 2000. Shirley worked in the banking industry in the loan department.
Surviving family who will cherish her memory as a cookie baking grandmother and as a person who highly valued relationships with her grandchildren as well as a person who graced their lives with her very special love are:
Daughter – Joanna Moore and her husband Steven; their children: Merideth Yarbrough (Josh) and their baby girl to come in November; Michael Moore (Shelby) and two year old Avery; Mitchell Moore (Delaney)
Son – Bruce Allen (Cindy); their children: Jenny Rigdon (Stan); Stacey Stratton (Sam); Emily Duncan (Nate) and Michelle Pierce (Trenton)
Mrs. Allen will be lovingly laid to rest beside her husband Mike in the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
