Sarina Renee Decker

Sarina Renee Decker was born on September 13, 1979, in Galveston, Texas, to Wayne Clarence Decker and Sandra Deloris Decker. She passed from this life on April 8, 2026, at the age of 46. Sarina grew up in the Highlands and Baytown, Texas areas, where she attended local schools and developed a love for music. She proudly played the flute in her school band and carried that love of music throughout her life, especially enjoying artists like Garth Brooks and New Kids on the Block. Known as the “mother hen” of her family, Sarina naturally took on a nurturing role, helping raise her siblings as well as many nieces and nephews. Her caring spirit and willingness to support others left a lasting impact on everyone she touched. Sarina shared a meaningful relationship with Richard Lee Ybanez, and together they had two children, Jessie and Noah, who were the greatest highlights of her life. She was a devoted mother who took pride in teaching Jessie how to cook, even though cooking wasn’t her favorite pastime. Her career reflected her strong work ethic and determination. Sarina held her first management position at Kmart in Ohio before continuing in various retail roles. She eventually found her professional home with Murphy’s, working in Pauls Valley and Norman, Oklahoma, for 13 years. Her dedication and leadership earned her the prestigious “Circle of Stars” award, recognizing her as part of a top-performing Murphy’s store. Sarina loved traveling, spending time with family and friends, and especially cherished visits to Galveston Beach. She was known for her motivation, her hardworking nature, and her ability to inspire others. She encouraged those around her not to hold grudges and always tried to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Sarina will be remembered for her strength, her generosity, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on through her children, her family, and all those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Sarina is survived by her sons, Jessie Ybanez, Noah Ybanez, Ricky Decker, Levi Emke; Bonus son, Taylor Hammond; Mother, Sandra Deloris Decker; Daughter, Kim Autrey; Grandson, Jackson Autrey; Brother, Joseph Decker; Sisters, Johna Decker, Khrisda Decker, Carol Nicole Williams; Aunt Jazalyn; Cousin Krystal; Family friends, Kim Cleaver and husband Tim; Nieces and Nephews, Aydense, Ethan, Layla, Kolt, Skyler, Adesna, Isabel, Gracie; and a host of other friends and family. Sarina was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Clarence Decker; Grandmother, Gladiola “Gloria” Wingate; and Father of Jessie and Noah, Richard Lee Ybanez. Memorial services for Sarina are pending at this time.
