Sammy Ray McCaskill of Tuttle, Ok was born April 8, 1941 in Wynnewood, Ok to Boochie & Beulah Collins McCaskill and departed this life Friday, August 24, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Ok at the age of 77 years.
Sam grew up in Antioch. He went to school at Antioch and Elmore City. After finishing school, he went to work in the oilfield and retired in 2011. On October 10, 1959 he married Alene Hayes in Gainesville, Tx. Sam enjoyed horse racing, raising cattle, farming and watching grandkids sporting events. The highlights of his life were his family and being founder of Nomac drilling. The most important thing he taught others about life was honesty, hard work and to not be selfish.

7 Grandchildren: Chace and Rylee McCaskill, Dillon and Dustin Stanley, Alicia Greenway, Taylor Whitis, Michael Stubblefield

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Elmore City with Rev. Danny Reed officiating. Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. You may send the family a condolence at www.woosterfuneralhome.com
