Roywana (Long) Myall, age 79, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born on September 6, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Roy David Long and Effie Rene (Britt) Newell.
Roywana spent her early childhood growing up in Kansas City, Kansas, before moving to Wynnewood, Oklahoma, where she attended school and graduated. Throughout her life, she worked as a desk clerk in the hotel industry, where her warm personality and love for visiting with others made her well-suited for her work.
Roywana found happiness spending time watching her favorite television shows, including Columbo, Law & Order, In the Heat of the Night, Perry Mason, and Svengoolie. She also loved shopping on QVC and HSN and took great pride in her jewelry collection. Each piece was something special to her.
Above all else, Roywana treasured her family, especially her grandchildren. To them, she was not just a grandmother; she was the best Nana anyone could ask for. She loved spending time with them, visiting, sharing stories, and making memories. Even something as simple as cooking Hot Pockets and French bread pizza for her grandchildren became a cherished memory.
Roywana had a giving heart and believed in sharing whatever she had with others. She may not have had an abundance of material possessions, but what she had, she gave freely and with love. She taught her family that generosity isn't measured by how much you have, but by how much love you put into giving. Her kindness, selflessness, and willingness to help others is what made her unique.
Perhaps one of the most meaningful lessons Roywana leaves behind is the importance of truly living life. She taught those around her to value experiences over possessions, to enjoy the moments that matter, and to make the most of the time we are given. She understood that life's greatest treasures aren't things we can buy, but the memories we create, the laughter we share, and the love we leave behind.
Roywana is survived by her Son, Dustin Turner and wife Nancy of Jay, Oklahoma; Daughter, Martina Blythe and husband Michael of Macomb, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Shayne Faulkner, Dustin Turner II and wife Hunter, Amanda Turner and husband Wisarut Kanjanawanna, Grant Blythe, Mikelle Blythe; Great-grandchildren, Sidon Blythe, Liam Turner, Scarlett Turner, Briella Faulkner, Theo Turner; and a host of other friends and family.
Roywana was preceded in death by her parents, Roy David Long and Effie Rene Newell; and Brother, David Lee Long.
