ROSE ELLA BLACKWOOD

Rose Ella Blackwood will be affectionately remembered as mother, sister, grandmother great-grandmother and friend. She was a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Baptist church where she taught Sunday School and helped in soup kitchens. Her life also made a difference in our world as she was dedicated to the ministry of working with foster children. These efforts were all completed while she was a housewife, bookkeeper, and Spanish teacher.
Rose Ella is preceded in death by her husband, James F. Blackwood whom she married in Napa, California on October 2, 1954.
Her survivors include:
Sons: James Scott Blackwood and Brent Lance Blackwood
Daughters: Daina Jean Halford and Cecelia Cylen Hurst
Sister: Minnie Amelia Poteet
12-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren
