Ronnie Hudson age 96 of Katie Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2024. Ronnie was born to Lafayette Russell Hudson and Martha Josephine Hudson, October 5, 1928 in Pauls Valley Oklahoma. He lived in Katie for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sally Hudson of 71 years, all of his siblings, a granddaughter, Tobie Cantwell, grandson; Dayln Veal, and a son in law Larry Cantwell. In 1946 Ronnie married the love of his life, Thelma Anthony better known as Sally. The couple was blessed with six daughters; Sarah, Connie, Ronna, Patricia, Anita and Robbie. They were both proud of their daughters. Ronnie worked at the county yard in Elmore City for 25 years, he retired in 1990. He received an award for having accident free service. He was known for being a hard working man that was dedicated to caring for his family. He provided for them by raising a beautiful garden that he worked diligently. Ronnie and Sally have 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. Ronnie loved his church in Katie where he became a deacon April 10, 2005. He led the music at times, helped fix what needed to be fixed and helped Sally with the things she ask of him. Ronnie served his family well, he will be missed by us all. Ronnie loved gardening, hunting, playing dominoes and being with family. We all laughed about his attitude to always want to be in charge and give out orders. He would lite up anytime he would see his children or grandchildren.
