Robert Larry Russell was born November 21, 1953 in Roswell, New Mexico and died on August 28, 2018 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma after a brave year and a half battle with lung cancer.
Larry was a very happy guy with a very positive attitude. His favorite thing was making friends. He'd say "Hi" with the biggest smile to everyone he met. Larry also loved the Broncos, car races, his cats and good meals with friends. He never complained once during his battle with cancer. One time he had a severe reaction to a chemo treatment and, although he was very uncomfortable, he kept joking with the nurses. Larry had lots of friends in Davis and at The Willows.
Special thanks to all those who gave Larry love, prayers and support throughout his battle. The staff and residents at The Willows and the staff of Health Back and Valley Hospice were beyond awesome. Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley with Chaplain Tim Duncan officiating. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com .
