Rickey Spray Ratchford of Wynnewood, Oklahoma was born on February 15, 1968, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma and he passed from this life on November 15, 2021, at the age of 53 years.
Rickey's life began at Milburn, Oklahoma on the ranch, where he rode his first pony at age 4. At age 13, he began his aspiration of rodeo stock and learn all rodeo events. He graduated from Maysville High School and he always made his fellow class mates laugh, and attended Western State College where he was a member of the college rodeo team. Rickey was talented, whether it be welding, construction, riding Thoroughbred racehorses, setting records, pro rodeo, or fishing. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, team roping, starting horse, and visiting with his friends and helping others. The highlights of his life were his sons, family, and winning all-round champion saddle and champion high school bareback rider title. The most important things he taught other was to be fun loving, how to get along, how to ride bulls and bareback horse, and how to just enjoy life. His dog Buck was always by his side. We will always remember the smile on his face and the laugh you always brought with you.
