Richard Ernest Greenland of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Ernest and Ella Greenland on November 9, 1941 in Westchester, New York and passed from this life on June 8, 2020, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 78 years.

Richard grew up and attended school in Elmsford, New York, where he graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in 1959. He moved to Oklahoma 43 years ago and resided in Elmore City, Purcell, and Pauls Valley. Richard spent most of his life in carpentry, construction, and roofing – operating his own business, Greenland & Sons Construction, for more than 20 years. Most recently, he worked at Ace Hardware in Pauls Valley.

Richard was a man of few words but known for his smile, a love of tools, and hard work.

Debra Kane and family of Danbury, Connecticut
And numerous grandchildren
