Ramiro Lara-Mendoza was born in La Noria, Guanajuato, Mexico to Jose Lara-Maldonado and Yolanda Mendoza-Flores on January 9, 1975. Ramiro passed from this life on December 8, 2020. Ramiro married the love of his life, Leticia Balbantin, on October 30, 1995. Together they raised three beautiful children, Ramiro Jr, Liliana, and Angelica. Ramiro adored his family, he considered them his greatest accomplishment. He was fun loving, a very hard worker and never met a stranger. Ramiro had a great appreciation for nature and the outdoors. His favorite thing to do was sitting in a tree stand all day waiting for that big buck to show up. When Ramiro wasn't hunting, he was counting down the months til deer season and preparing for it or just watching his hunting shows on TV. He was and is deeply loved and will be forever missed by all who knew him.
Ramiro was preceded in death by his daughter, Liliana Lara, his mother, Yolanda Mendoza, two sisters, Oralia and Maria de la Luz Lara, maternal grandparents, Baldomero Mendoza and Magdalena Flores, paternal grandparents, Alfonzo Lara and Soledad Maldonado.
Ramiro is survived by his wife, Leticia Lara of the home, son Ramiro Lara Jr of the home, daughter Angelica Lara of the home, his father, Jose Lara of La Noria, Guanajuato, Mexico, brothers Jose and Servando Lara of Oklahoma City, Pedro, Socorro, Jorge, and Rodrigo Lara of La Noria, sisters Mireya and Ana Lara of Oklahoma City, Maria and Erika Lara of La Noria, Guanajuato along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Graveside services for Ramiro and his daughter, Liliana are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Katie Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. You may send a condolence to the family at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com .
