On March 16, 1931 Quinen Ross was born to Elizabeth Buckner in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Quinen spent his early years in Pauls Valley attending school at Dunbar. He later moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and graduated from Douglas High School. Upon graduation he was drafted into the United States Army and was a Korean Vet. After his release from the Army he went back to Oklahoma City where he met and married the love of his life Harriett House. On July 5, 1980 Quinen and Harriett moved back to Pauls Valley. He worked and retired from Viskase.
Quinen is preceded in death by his Mother, Elizabeth Davis; his wife Harriett Ross; Daughter Kay Wilson (Calif.); Son, Joe Wilson (Calif.); his Grandparents and a host of other family and friends.
Quinen leaves to cherish his memories his significant other Linda Lawton and family; Sister, Jackie Jackson of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Nephew, Orlando House (Gerri) of Oklahoma City, Okalhoma; Niece Darshell House of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Brother in Law, Zadro House of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a host of cousins and friends.
Services for Quinen will be Monday, August 19, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Pastor Michael Eaton officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cametery in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
