Heaven's newest angel, Patsy Ruth Downey Faulkinberry, of Branson, Missouri, was born November 14,1934, in Pernell Oklahoma to Alfred Weldon Downey and Flona Green Downey. In 1953 she began her 69 year love story with Bobby Faulkinberry. Their marriage was filled with much joy and happiness, and one beautifully continuous adventure after another! First and foremost to Patsy was her marriage and family. In between family gatherings and every day life, she filled her days with researching and authoring three cookbooks, and several family genealogy books. Arts and crafts, sewing, crocheting, writing, reading, and word games were just some of her accomplishments and her cooking was legendary! Family and friends were always welcome and a pot of coffee was always ready.

Patsy was blessed with four children born to her and her husband Bobby. They celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary this year. She is survived by her children, Alletha Fry of Hollister, Missouri; Katrinka and her husband Weldon Scrivner of Abilene, Texas; LaTonya Moore of Hollister, Missouri; Marty and his wife Joanna Faulkinberry of Pineville, Missouri. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren Shane Fry and wife Beverly, Angel Leonard and husband Todd, Bill Fry and wife Anna, Autumn Uehlinger and husband Michael, Summer Roberts, Jason Faulkinberry and wife Kellie, Brandon Faulkinberry and wife Elizabeth, Aaron Blevins, and Livy Wade and husband Tyler. And 24 great Grandkids. Jared, Alyssa, Tyler R, Ryan, Zoe, Colton, Bridger, Kinley, Isaac, Jesse, Jack, Nathan, Hudson, Noah, Caleb, Tyler F, Dawsynn, Joshua, Joy Anna, Felix, Harper, Thayer, Greta, and Fallon. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Faulkinberry, parents Alfred and Flona Downey, and her sister Bill Downey.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Foster Cemetery. Officiating will be Patsy's sister-in-law Cathy Auld, with prayer done by Jerry Auld.
