Patricia Minton

Patricia Lorean Minton of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born to Rufus Lee Mathis and Lorean Mae (Fowler) Mathis on September 15, 1951 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and passed from this life on September 8, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Patricia grew up and attended school in Elmore City. She later attended Vo-tech in Enid, Oklahoma, specializing in computer science. Patricia was a stay at home mother before starting a 30 year career with the Federal Department of Agriculture. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, card games, and OU football (Raymond couldn’t talk during games!). Patricia especially loved being outdoors, tending her big gardens and greenhouse, where she grew squash, peppers, tomatoes, and asparagus. The highlights of her life were her family and her dogs, Punky, Minnie, and Dollie. Patricia will be remembered for being a very generous person, offering her time and her home to others. Also, her chocolate gravy, pulled pork (Jacob had some every visit), and strawberry ice cream were to die for! Mrs. Minton is survived by: Her Son: Lonnie Scott Reynolds of Elmore City, Oklahoma Her Daughter: Sheila Renee Stallcup and husband Richard Stallcup of Enid, Oklahoma Her Brothers: Lonnie Lee Mathis of Jenks, Oklahoma Danny Ray Mathis and wife Becky Mathis of Elmore City, Oklahoma Her Sisters: Nellie Marie McCarthick of Tishomingo, Oklahoma Nancy Sue Wiley of Jenks, Oklahoma 7 grandchildren: Jacob Peterson of Enid, Oklahoma; Devin Peterson and wife Rebecca of Enid, Oklahoma; Tanner Peterson of Enid, Oklahoma; Ashleigh Stallcup of Enid, Oklahoma; Kayleigh Stallcup of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Carleigh Stallcup of Enid, Oklahoma; and Cody Stallcup of Enid, Oklahoma 2 great-grandchildren: Dawson Peterson and Audree Peterson, both of Enid, Oklahoma The father of her children: Lonnie Reynolds Her significant other of 14 years: Raymond Jaco A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mrs. Minton was preceded in death by: Husband: Teddy Minton Parents: Rufus and Lorean Mathis Brothers: Gene, Larry, Bobby, and Roger Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2022, at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Pastor Jimmy Balentine officiating.
