Molly Francis Layton of Wynnewood, Oklahoma was born to Frank and Mary Kaiser on January 24, 1927 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and passed from this life on December 19, 2019 at her home near Wynnewood, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years.
Molly spent her childhood days on Lookout Mountain with Miss Mildred learning how to be a great southern lady. Molly and Roy Layton were married at Lake Tahoe, Nevada and have made their home in Wynnewood, Oklahoma for many years. Molly was a florist and had an AA in Business Administration and Accounting. She was Senior Warden of the St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. She was President of Officers Wives Club, a Red Cross Volunteer, Worked Air Evac in Japan for the soldiers coming back from Viet Nam, President of Pink Ladies of Pauls Valley General Hospital, and President of lots of golf groups. In her spare time, she loved to golf and would strive to win every golf tournament she entered. Molly would have liked to have been a professional golfer. The most important thing she taught others is that life is what you go after and to care for all stray animals whenever you can.

The family will receive family and friends at Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019 at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Pauls Valley with Rev. Suzy Lindley and Father Richard Burris officiating.
