Mildred Ann Park entered this life as the younger daughter of Jesse M. and Bertha M. (Black) Park. She was born in Bakersfield, CA on December 3, 1945 and passed away in Purcell Hospital with loving family near her on Friday, June 11, 2021 at the age of 75 years.
Mildred's parents Jessie and Bertha Park and her beloved husband, Gary greeted her in eternity.
Family who will miss her most and who share memories of the joy of her well lived life are her step-daughters, Amanda Parkey and Tina Litty, sister, Mary Lou Freeman, and the grand ones Britney, Macy, Jeremy, Nicholas, and Tyler and the great-grand ones, Bailey, Nathan and J.D.
She graduated from Lindsay High School and entered the U.S. Army. Mildred's life was spent serving her country in the military until her retirement. Mildred was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. She loved to mow the yard, like 5 acres of it. She and Gary spent many happy hours at this task. Mildred was known for her keen sense of humor. She loved to laugh and even better making you laugh.
Mildred Park and married Gary D. Parkey on September 11, 1986 in Texas.
Graveside funeral services for Mildred Parkey are scheduled for Tuesday, June 15 at 10:30 in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Jeff Litty officiating.
