MELVIN DEAN LEWIS
Melvin Lewis of Garland, TX was born to Junior and Vida Lewis in Wynnewood, OK on November 9, 1949 and went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2021.
He attended school in Wynnewood, OK. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1968 through 1971 and later worked for Texas Instruments for 35 years until retiring in 2008.
Melvin was preceded in death by: His mother and father, and 1 brother, Larry Lewis
Survivors include:
2 Sons: Brian and Brent Lewis both of Davis, OK
1 Daughter: Krystal Powell of Blanchard, OK
2 Brothers: Floyd Lewis and wife Judy of Lexington, OK
Gary Lewis and wife Kay of Davis, OK
His best friend of 42 years, Margaret Holcomb
6 Grandchildren: Ryan Stuckey, Kyle Stuckey, Madilyn Lewis, Norman Lewis, Peyton Lewis and Dean Lewis
Also: many nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Melvin are scheduled for Saturday 23, January at 2:00 p.m. in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, OK with Tony Vaughn officiating.
