Melville Alfred Rennie III of Wynnewood, OK was born to Melville Alfred Rennie Jr. and Betty Williams Rennie on March 24,1958 and entered eternal life on Saturday, December 4,2021 at the age of 63 years. Mel passed away at his residence surrounded by loving family.
Mel grew up in Wynnewood and graduated from Wynnewood High School. While in high school Mel excelled in FFA, particularly showing steers. He attended college at OSU. He later worked as a police officer in Del City, OK before owning his own business, Ace Bail Bonds in Pauls Valley. Mel also spent time working as a bounty hunter.
He loved hanging out with family. His NA family was an important part of his life and the last few years serving as GSR. Mel taught others the importance of a good work ethic. He always believed and taught others "we can always rise again."
Those who will miss Mel's presence most include his wife, Brenda Rennie, his daughter, Melanie Rennie and grandchildren Zackery Mathews, Lillian Mathews, and Brendan Mathews.
Services to celebrate Mel's life are scheduled for Thursday, December 9,2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family @ www.woosterfuneralhome.com
