Mary Ann (Corro) Henderson, 74, of Elmore City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026 in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was born on April 9, 1951, in Cebu City, Philippines, to Manuel Corro and Gilda (Villa) Corro.
Mary Ann graduated high school from the University of Visayas in Cebu City, Philippines. She then went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Philippines. Her caring heart and servant spirit led her to a meaningful career in direct care at the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center (SORC) in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She faithfully served her community there until her retirement, touching countless lives with her compassion and dedication.
She was a devoted member of the Elmore City Church of Christ, where her faith guided her life and relationships.
Mary Ann found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved gardening, cheering on OU football, watching the Oklahoma City Thunder with her grandson Rylen, attending her grandchildren's sports and activities, and shopping. She was especially known for making the very best lumpia and chicken adobo — meals that brought family and friends together around her table.
Above all, Mary Ann cherished her family. She treasured time spent with loved ones and lived by the values she gently instilled in others: take more photos, always be there for your loved ones, and always look your best. Her warmth, wisdom, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mary Ann is survived by her son, Jayson Corro and wife Sabrina (Fanfan) Corro; Daughter, Tiffany (Henderson) Knight and husband Derrick; Brothers, Eduardo Corro, Reuben Corro, Rosendo Corro; Grandchildren, Sydnee Corro, Jarin Corro, Falyn Knight, Rylen Knight, Haylen Knight, Chase Walker; Great-Grandson, Gabriel Curry; and a host of other family and friends.
