Madelyn Nicole Caldwell

Madelyn Nicole Caldwell was born on March 20, 1998 to Randi Michelle Caldwell in Ada, Oklahoma. Madie passed away on June 25, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 26. Growing up Madie loved sports, she played softball, basketball, and competed in track and field. Madie was a girl scout, she loved church and serving others from a young age. Madie went on a mission trip to Mexico and loved hip hop dance, slumber parties with her cousins, and hanging out with her mom. Madie graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 2016 then went on to the University of Central Oklahoma where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Forensic Science with emphasis on Criminal Justice in 2021. After obtaining her bachelor's she continued school and was a year into obtaining her Master’s degree in Forensic Science. Madie was a member of the Wynnewood First Baptist Church where she was a dedicated Sunday School Teacher and a sponsor for the Youth Group and loved attending the Falls Creek Summer Camp with the kids. Madie worked for the City of Pauls Valley Recreation Center for 10 years while attending school, and she was also the coach for the boys and girls Shot put and discus team at Wynnewood High School. She attended the Track and Field National at the college level and she served in Americorp. Madie loved traveling and went on a trip to Israel and loved hiking the Appalachian Trail. Madie was an amazing young lady who was loved by many, she had a huge heart and loved the Lord with an amazing love. Madie taught others to never give up, love the Lord with your whole heart, and live life to the fullest. She made an impact on many and will be missed by all who knew her. Madie is survived by her Grandparents; Douglas and Pamela Caldwell; Maternal great-grandmother, Margaret McKinzie; Aunts and Uncles, Shane Caldwell and wife Lanelle, Tony Caldwell and wife Dawana, Silas Caldwell and wife Shawnna; Cousins, Mason Caldwell, Reid Caldwell, Jaycee Caldwell, Eli Erickson, Dugan Caldwell, Adyson Caldwell, Bowen Caldwell, Layton Erickson, and a numerous other relatives and friends. Madie is preceded in death by her mother, Randi Michelle Caldwell; Great-grandparents, Glen and Barbara Caldwell; and great-grandfather, Everett McKinzie. Services for Madie will be Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood, Oklahoma with Jarrod Kendall officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. The family will be accepting friends and family for visitation on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
