Obituary

Larry D. Lee was born to Carl Wesley and Fern Louise (Mann) Lee on August 14,1945 in Wynnewood, OK and entered eternal life on January 7,2022 at the age of 76 years.
Larry spent his childhood days in Pernell where he attended grade school and graduated from Pernell High School. He attended Southeastern State College where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree.
Larry and Madelyn (Bunny) Hill were married on May 29,1964 in the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City, OK. Larry worked in the oilfield and was employed by Texaco as a production foreman at the time of his retirement in 2002. Larry was a member of the Hennepin Baptist Church, a Hennepin Volunteer Fireman and board member.
His heart was most passionate about family. He embraced his children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter with a deep assurance of his love. In the tradition of his parents, Carl and Fern Lee; daughters-in-law were treated "like daughters." He was always dedicated and available for his family. Other things Larry loved were ranching and raising cattle. He always enjoyed checking on the cattle with his "Go to Guy" Chase.
Larry set an example of always showing respect to others, being dependable, honorable, and being a loving family man. He was a man who was not shy about letting others know what he wanted and how he felt. One of his sayings was, "Keep your nose to the wind."
