Obituary

Lacey Mae Tyler was born on December 7, 1983 in Denton Texas to William Everett Tyler and Reina Mae (Goin) Tyler. Lacey passed from this life on May 21, 2024 in Elmore City, Oklahoma at the age of 40.
Lacey attended school at Lewisville High School. She loved going dancing and singing in the shower. The outdoors were a very special place for Lacey to be, whether it was spending time with her kids at their sporting events and even coaching T- Ball for two years, going to Buckhorn Lake, Little Niagara, or spending time riding around in the Razor helping Brian feed cattle in the pasture. Lacey loved having her hair and makeup done and loved how pretty it made her feel, even though everyone knew how beautiful of a person she was with or without it on. Her children loved her cooking. They loved her meatloaf, enchiladas, and she loved having BBQ's with family and friends. Friends were very important to her as they became her non-biological family, they would do everything together, from bonfires, to birthday parties, to concerts, to creating bucket lists together even noting that some of the things on that bucket list the others had no idea about. Lacey was dedicated to anyone she felt strongly about, and this included children. Lacey was almost finished with her Associates in Early Childhood Development for the Head Start Program, and she was so proud of herself for that. Her love for kids also showed in the way she substituted for the Elmore City Public Schools in the Elementary, Junior High, and High School. Lacey spent most of her career as a Receptionist in the Medical field, but before that she worked as a Home Health Nurse for the Pauls Valley Hospital before it shut down. Lacey's life was tragically taken from her all to soon as her life was just starting over for the better, but everyone knew she was ready to see her parents again. Lacey was the light everyone needed around. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind and tell you exactly how it was, but she also taught others that it was very important to stay positive, love unconditionally, don't take things for granted, show emotion, live life to the fullest with no regret, and be a decent human.
Lacey is survived by her children, Kaden Crawford and Maycie Brooks of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jesiah Turner, Quinton Turner, Reina Turner, and Joslin Turner of Elmore City, Oklahoma; Brothers, Glenn Tyler and Tonya of Oklahoma, Eric Tyler of Pennsylvania; Sisters, Donna Tyler of Elmore City, Oklahoma, Cheryl Tyler of Elmore City, Oklahoma; "Sisters", Amber Smith of Maysville, Oklahoma, Leslie Naron and husband Ray of Elmore City, Oklahoma; Granddaughter, Lydia Turner; and a host of "bonus" kids.
Lacey is preceded in death by her parents William Everett Tyler and Reina Mae (Goin) Tyler.
