Obituary

Kenny Lee Wells departed this life Friday, October 20, 2023. He was 68. Kenny was born in Purcell, Oklahoma to Robert Russell Lee Wells and Mildred Louise (Harper) Wells on January 25, 1955.
Kenny was raised on a farm and continued to farm throughout his life. He loved hunting, ranching, and riding horses. He enjoyed raising cattle and took great pride in the fences and lots he built to hold and work his wild cows! Kenny had a great appreciation for things that were well built, and it showed in his work. His welding was second to none. He had a great work ethic and believed in keeping busy – always working.
Kenny was quick to help without anyone knowing. To those around him he was a meteorologist, doctor, and counselor when needed. He was a protective big brother, an accomplished prankster, and would get even when it was least expected. Kenny always kept everyone informed. He was logical, persistent, and most importantly, always right!
Kenny had a son, Russell, a daughter, Brecca, and a bonus son, Donnie. He met Resa in 2011. With their marriage in 2017, he gained 2 daughters, April and Lacie. He had 6 grandchildren: Logan, Jason, Hudson, Titan, Conner, and Ivan, along with one great-grandchild, Florence Jubilee.
Kenny had relationships with many special people throughout his life including Lynden, Bruce, the Keck family, Wendel, James, the Morris family, Forrest (Timber), the Clingman Electric Family, and many others - you know who you are.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Resa; son, Russell and wife Mindy; daughter, Brecca and husband Mark; Donnie, April, Lacie; grand and great-grandchildren; sister, Lisa and husband Doug; nephew, Clint; and great nephew, Landon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Mildred Wells, and brother Ricky Wells.
