KENNETH K. KRAFT Kenneth K. Kraft, age 73 of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born on October 18, 1933 in Arapaho, Oklahoma to George and Elsie Kraft and passed away peacefully with family members at his bedside on Thursday, May 3, 2007 in Pauls Valley. Kenneth attended school in Shattuck, Oklahoma and graduated on the honor roll from Oklahoma State Tech at Okmulgee, Oklahoma in building and construction. On September 4, 1955, he married Sylvia Lindsey at the United Methodist Church in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Kenneth had a career in carpentry and was the head carpenter at Pauls Valley State School where he retired in January of 1988 with 34 years of service. Kenneth was a member of one of the first Pauls Valley Police Auxiliary Forces and was a member of the Garvin County Sheriff Patrol for many years. He was a past member of the Oklahoma Reserve Law Officers Association. Kenneth loved the simple things in life; sunrises and sunsets, spring rains, the smell of fresh cut grass. He found joy working in a garden, woodworking, and spending quality time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He strived to find the good and positive things in this world and the people in it. His compassion for the human spirit was always demonstrated by his belief in treating all people with dignity and respect; treating others as he would want to be treated. Kenneth had a strong work ethic and believed in measuring twice and cutting once in everything he did. He served as God’s humble servant in his role with his bus ministry. He spent many happy hours using his gift of carpentry in service to the Lord at First Baptist Kenneth is survived by: His loving and dedicated wife of 52 years – Sylvia Kraft of the home Sons – Philip Kraft and his wife, Kenya James Kraft and his wife, Kim Daughter – Lori Ford and her husband, Bruce 10 Grandchildren – Ellen Kraft, Kenneth Kraft, Jerry Kraft, Joshua Kraft, Lisa Elliott, Chessley Elliott, Tiarra Harper, Kelby Harper, Kaitlynn Kraft, Kaycee Kraft 2 Great-grandchildren - Kaden Kraft and Silvia Kraft Sister – Francis Killens Mr. Kraft was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elsie Kraft and a grandson, James Allen Kraft. A special note of appreciation is extended to the dedicated staff of the Willows Assisted Living Center in Pauls Valley. Their caring and loving compassion is greatly appreciated. Funeral services for Kenneth K. Kraft are scheduled for Monday, May 7, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Joe Elam officiating. Interment will be in the Mt.
