Judy Darline (Driver) King was born on October 17, 1941 in a small community in Oklahoma named Lawrence. Judy passed from this life on September 16, 2024 surrounded by those who loved her in the comfort of her home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 82.
Judy married the love of her life Arthur Eugene King on March 20, 1957 in Roff, Oklahoma. Judy received her GED to start her college education at East Central University in 1970, upon completion Judy received her degree in the healthcare field as a Respiratory Therapist. Judy worked at Pauls Valley General Hospital, and later retired from the Norman Regional Health Systems in 2010. Judy loved her family, she loved going to the lake, antique shopping, and loved taking vacations to the beach. Judy taught her family many things, but the most important thing she taught them was to love one another and that your family will always be important.
Judy is survived by her husband of the home, Arthur Eugene "Gene" King; Son, Clifford Eugene King and wife Belinda; Daughters, Karen Jeanne Norman, Jennifer Darlene Frizell and husband Lloyd; Sister, Birdie Abbott; Grandchildren, Justin Norman, Andrea Rose, Stephen Frizell, Derek King; Great-Grandchildren, Jarett Norman, Bryson Frizell, Raylon Frizell, Adalynn Frizell, Riott Rose, Merritt Rose, Beckett Rose, and Madalyn King.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, John Newton Driver, Jr. and Willie Mae (Henry) Driver and grandson, Kyle King.
Services for Mrs. King will be Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Pastor Brock Carlile officiating.
