John Nelson passed away January 12, 2019. He was born in Levy, Arkansas, June 16, 1929. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Dorothy, his three children and spouses, Doug (Mary), Nancy (Richard), Kathy (Georgi) and five grandchildren, Blake, Catherine, Rebekah, Daniel and Thaddaeus. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine, and four siblings, Nellie, Charlotte, Mary Lou and Bill. He was an active member of the Kiwanis Club and First United Methodist Church of Pauls Valley. The family requests that any memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 407 N. Willow St., Pauls Valley, OK, 73075.
