Obituary

Jerry Dean Reynolds, 66, of Elmore City, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on May 18, 2026.
Jerry was born on October 25, 1959, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, to Robert Albert Reynolds and Linnie May (Gage) Reynolds.
From a young age, Jerry had a deep love for animals and the ranching life. Growing up, if he was not in school, he was often working on a farm somewhere. He developed a talent for training and breaking horses and carried his strong work ethic throughout his life.
Jerry graduated from Paoli High School in 1978 and went on to build a long career as a ranch hand. He dedicated 26 years to working at David Temple's farm, where his hard work and leadership eventually earned him the position of foreman.
Outside of ranching, Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and painting cow skulls. He was known by his family for the meals he made with love, especially his beans and cornbread and his hamburgers, which became favorites among those closest to him.
The highlight of Jerry's life was his grandchild, Amos Todd, who brought him great joy and pride.
Jerry was a man who believed in treating others with kindness and respect. He always encouraged those around him to be decent people and to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges life brought.
He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love for family, and a life rooted in faithfulness to the land and the people he cared for.
