Jerry Tyrone Barber was born on December 11, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jerry Jefferson Barber and Kay Donna (Dewey) McCarter. Jerry passed from this life on June 10, 2024 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 63.
Jerry grew up in Oklahoma City and attended school there. He was a good Christian man who loved to drink his coffee outside every morning and watch the sun rise. Jerry served his country as a member of the U.S. National Guard. His most recent career was working at Clements Food in Oklahoma City where he dedicated 9 years of his life and loved the job and friends he made while there. Everyone who knew Jerry couldn't help but love him, he will be missed by so many.
Jerry is survived by his Son, Steven Barber of Blanchard, Oklahoma; Daughter, Christy King and husband Shawn of Blanchard, Oklahoma; Brother, Kendall Barber and wife Karen of Texas; Sister; Lisa Vinson and husband Shorty of Dibble, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; five nieces; two nephews; two great nieces; one great nephew; many more family members including cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Jefferson Barber and Kay Donna (Dewey) McCarter and his Brother, Randy Winfrey and Sister, Brenda Blevins.
