Janet Sue Quinill was born on March 14, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Paul Edward Jones and Jewel Louise (Turner) Jones. Janet passed from this life on May 29, 2024 in the comfort of her home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
Growing up Janet loved playing with her toy dolls and she attended Pauls Valley Public Schools. She loved playing with her siblings and spending time with her grandparents. Janet married Clayton Quinill on September 27, 2002 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and the two enjoyed going camping with their children and attending the Pentecostal Church of God in Pauls Valley. Janet liked cooking Chicken and Dumplings and making Deviled Eggs during the Thanksgiving holiday because she wanted to make sure they were just the way she liked them. She loved reading Stephen King books, watching horror films, and watching other various TV series such as 90 day fiancé. Janet loved everyone, but her grandchildren were the highlight of her life and she loved spending time with them around the house and really enjoyed the time spent pushing them on the swing set as they were growing up.
Janet is survived by her husband Clayton Quinill of the home; Daughter Jennifer Harris; Brothers, Jimmy Jones, Gary Jones; Sister, Marilyn Lasell; Grandchildren, Bryson Burch, Madison Burch, Kalyn Turner, Kole Turner, Eboni Turner; and five great-grandchildren.
Janet is preceded in death by her daughters, Carey Jones, Amanda Harris; Parents, Paul and Jewel (Turner) Jones; Brother, Keith Jones; Father in Law, Jimmy Quinill; and grandparents; Luther and Eunice Turner, Minnie and Buck Jones.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley.
