Glynna Fay (Woolsey) Linz was born on July 6, 1933 to B.J. "Boots" and Ruby Fay (Bullard) Woolsey in Katie, Oklahoma. Glynna passed from this life on May 25, 2024 in La Mesa, California at the age of 90.
Mrs. Linz grew up in Maysville, Oklahoma, she married Conway Patrick Linz on June 13, 1954 in Yuma, Arizona together they had one daughter Edythe Fay. Glynna attended college for a year for a Business degree. She worked as a subcontract administrator in the purchasing department for a shipbuilding – aerospace business in California. Glynna enjoyed her many trips back to Oklahoma to visit family and friends. She enjoyed camping and entering many chili cook-off's in California and Texas where they always placed in the top three. She also enjoyed going to watch her grandson, Marshall compete at his Motorcross Races.
Glynna is preceded in death by her husband, Conway Patrick Linz; Daughter, Edythe Fay Linz; Parents, B.J. and Ruby Woolsey; Sisters, Louise Bowen, Alma Horner; and Brother, Stanley Woolsey.
Glynna is survived by her grandson, Marshall Prather; three great grandsons; one great-grand daughter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her.
Graveside services for Glynna will be Monday, June 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Elmore City Cemetery with Jimmy Balentine officiating. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. If you would like to send your condolences to the family you may do so at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com
