Gary Paul Little was born on January 1, 1951 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Damon Paul Little and Zelma Juanita Little (Boyd). Gary passed from this life on December 8, 2023 in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
Growing up Gary loved playing football, running track, he was a part of the FFA, and he loved painting vehicles. His first job was at a service station in 1968. Gary graduated from Lindsay High School in Lindsay, Oklahoma in 1969. After graduation he married the love of his life Melba Little (Sudbury) on December 12, 1969 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Gary then went into the oilfield in 1972 to work for Tube Scope in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; he worked in the oilfield for the next 30 years until his retirement in Woodward in 2008. Gary and wife Melba moved back to Lindsay in 2013 and during their marriage they were blessed with three children: Christopher Little and wife Sharina, Bryan Little, and Angela and husband Kevin Loomis. Gary loved his family more than anything and all 13 of his grandchildren and 10 of his great grandchildren called him Gpa. After retirement he loved watching his grandchildren and children hunt, he never missed an Oklahoma University athletic event, enjoyed listening to the neighborhood happenings, scrolling on Facebook, and going to the casino. He will be missed by so many.
Gary is survived by his wife of the home, Melba Little (Sudbury); sons Christopher Little and wife Sharina of Eufala, Oklahoma, Bryan Little of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter Angela Loomis and husband Kevin of Woodward, Oklahoma; Mother-in-Law Phyllis Moore of Erin Springs, Oklahoma; Brother Anthony Little and wife Tammie of Yukon, Oklahoma; Sister Debi Sterkel and husband Ron of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Brother-in-Laws Ricky Sudbury and wife Marilyn of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Coy Talbott of Ering Springs, Oklahoma; Sister-in-Laws Sheila of El Reno, Oklahoma, and Elizabeth Pelham of Lindsay, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Damon Paul Little and Zelma Juanita (Boyd) Little; Brothers Marc Little; Father-in-law Sonny Moore; and grandson Brayden Little.
Services for Gary will be Wednesday December 13, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Interment at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood immediately following. Visitation for the family will be on Tuesday from 4 P.M. – 6 P.M. at Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley.
