Floy Jeannette Payne was born on January 4, 1939 to John Wesley Woolsey and Eula Mae Bullard in Elmore City, Oklahoma. Jeannette passed from this life on November 14, 2023 at the age of 84 in Elmore City, Oklahoma.
Jeannette loved family get togethers where they would play board games and cards. She loved to read and work puzzles and working in her flower beds. Jeannette really enjoyed watching the Oklahoma City Thunder play basketball and the Dallas Cowboys play football.
Jeannette is survived by her stepdaughter, Donna Payne and her sisters; Joyce Van Buskirk from Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Carol Flanders from Waynoka, Oklahoma, and Patricia Wright and husband Jim from Antioch, Oklahoma.
Jeannette is preceded by her parents; John Wesley Woosley and Eula Mae Bullard, her stepson; David Payne, brother; Don Woolsey, and sisters; JoAnn Wallace and Kaye Anderson.
The family would like to give a special thanks to those who cared for their sister Jeannette, their niece Jana who moved in with her so Jeanette was able to stay home. Without Jana Jeannette would have not been able to stay home. They want to thank Karrie Ward who was with them from the beginning and Betty Davis who went above and beyond caring for Jeannette, they became family and she loved them both. They want to thank their friends and church family for all the prayers from the Floy Jeannette Payne Family.
Services for Jeannette will be Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Katie Cemetery in Katie, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Visitation for Mrs. Payne will be Thursday, November 16, 2023 from Noon until 7:00 PM at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Elmore City, Oklahoma.
