Elizabeth JoAnn Ward entered this life on September 23, 1938, and entered into eternal life on January 22, 2021 in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
JoAnn spent most of her childhood days in Garvin County. She attended and finished her education at Katie School and later married Billy Ward on June 23, 1961. She had several hobbies that she enjoyed like sewing, and going to casino's, shopping and especially cooking for family. One of the things she enjoyed most in life were family get togethers. She has been described as the glue of her family. She taught her children to put family first and placed a strong emphasis on doing the right thing and she displayed what it means to love unconditionally.
JoAnn is survived by:
2 Daughters: Tammy Holman and husband Robert of Lindsay, OK; Sharon Casteel and husband Tim of Derby, KS.
Brother-in-law: Richard Ward and wife Marcie of Las Vegas, NV
Sister: Wanda Sisk of Siloam Springs, Arkansas
5 Grandchildren: Robert Wayne Holman, Tamara LaVonne Anderson, Tabitha Foulk, Nathanael Casteel, and Caleb Casteel.
9 Great-Grandchildren: Jazmyn Montgomery, Marissa Foulk, Lillian Foulk, Alexi Anderson, Morgan Shaw, Daulton Holman, Ty Holman, and Abbie Bibbs. Plus one on the way, a baby girl: Lauren JoAnn Foulk
2 Great-Great-Grandchildren: Blakely Shaw & Mason Shaw
