Dolores "Lolita" Vega Cruz was born on April 26, 1976 in Mexico City, Mexico to Julio Humberto Vega and Yolanda (Cruz) Coulter. Lolita passed from this life on January 30, 2023 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma surrounded by those she loved. Growing up Lolita loved riding around in her Cozy Coupe car, she was very friendly, sweet, and enjoyed playing with other kids. Lolita was always such a happy little girl. When she got older, she was the same sweet little girl, but she gained a lot of independence. She enjoyed cooking and drawing the older she got. Lolita graduated High School from Pauls Valley High School in 1998 and while in High School one of her favorite things to do was run track in the Special Olympics, she was always so proud of herself and showed that by collecting the numerous medals that she won over time. Lolita loved Halloween, she loved dressing up on Halloween, but she really loved passing out candy to the kids on Halloween. Her love for Halloween also sparked an interest in her love for Horror Movies, her sister Marianna who she named "Oso" (Teddy Bear) was not a fan of this because as her given nickname states Marianna was always so warm and kind, so when they were growing up they shared a room which meant Marianna also had to watch the Horror movies, but their relationship grew so full of love and laughter and they were both very close. Lolita loved the holidays, there was not one she did not enjoy, she also loved going to eat at Mexican restaurants and especially loved helping her mother make Tamales, Lolita did not like any other household chores, but making Tamales she loved. She worked for the Willow Tree Thrift Shop in Pauls Valley which is where she met the love of her life, Cameron. The two enjoyed their time together when they were at the shop working and after work they would spend a lot of time on the phone talking about the latest Horror movie they had just watched. Lolita loved her family so much and she loved spending time with them, she also had family that was not related but whom she considered family and that was her caretaker Angela Williams' family. Lolita used to always talk about how much she enjoyed going shopping, buying all the shoes, and all the sightseeing she would do with Angela's family. Lolita's family is so thankful for the special bond and memories that they shared. Lolita always taught others that there are no good or bad days, everyday is a great day. She will be missed by so many.
