Obituary

Culley Brant Turner of Davis, Oklahoma was born on October 21, 1971, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and passed from this life on September 9, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 50 years.
Culley grew up and attended school in Elmore City, Oklahoma, graduating in 1989. After high school, he began working as a driller in the oilfield, later working as a pumper and eventually as a fisherman for many years. He became known as "Sharphook" for his aptitude for retrieving "fish" from downhole.
In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time at the lake, visiting with his countless friends, and watching football—particularly when cheering on the Las Vegas Raiders and OU Sooners. Culley especially enjoyed taking tours throughout the South, including Nashville, Tennessee, and Macon, Georgia. The highlight of his life was his family. He will be remembered as a wonderful, loving father to his boys, a genuine, generous friend to all who knew him, and an extremely hard worker with an unmatched work ethic.
