Christy Dawn Long was born on May 10th, 1978, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Randal Long and Cathy (Wright) Christian. Christy passed from this life on February 3rd, 2024, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma at the age of 45.
Christy graduated from Byng High School in 1996. While still in high school, she obtained her Cosmetology license. Christy loved hanging out with her cousins Amy, Coby, Jeff, Jason, Jessica, and Emily. She also enjoyed family gatherings at Mamaw and Papaw's and riding horses. During her later years, she enjoyed making jewelry, painting, and taking care of her cats.
Christy is survived by her mother Cathy Christian and husband Jerry of Ada, OK; her father Randal Long of Hudson, FL; her son Carson McCarty and wife Hailey of Edmond, OK; her daughter Ashton Sullivan of McLoud, OK; her brother Travis Long and wife Shannon of Pauls Valley, OK; her sister Leslie Reeves and husband Bobby of Stonewall, OK; her brother Preston Christian and wife Lindsay of Ada, OK; her uncle Gary Wright and wife Connie of Blanchard, OK; her uncle Terry Wright and wife Jan of Davis, OK; her uncle Randy Wright and wife Vicky of Oklahoma City, OK; her uncle Russell Long and wife Debbie of Wynnewood, OK; a host of nieces and nephews, her former spouse Ben McCarty of Pauls Valley, OK; her former spouse Bobby Sullivan of Blanchard, OK; close family friends Richard and Christie McCarty of Pauls Valley, OK; Christy's special friends Ms. Linda McKenna of Wynnewood, OK; and a host of other family members who loved her so dearly.
Services for Christy will be Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Visitation for Ms. Long will be Friday, February 9th, 2024, from 4 PM-6PM with family accepting friends at that time. Public Visitation will start Thursday the 8th, pending time. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
