Buelha F. Hector-Baker was born to Joe Jackson and Cora L. (Hopkins) Gaddis on June 28, 1930, in Seminole, Oklahoma and passed from this life on October 20, 2023, in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years.
Buelha grew up and attended school at Sacramento, California. She later moved back to Oklahoma where she worked as a nurses aide for many years, 12 of those at Valley View Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. She was married to Edgar Hector until his passing and then to Deane Baker who preceded her in death as well. Buelha was a member of Faith Temple Church in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma

Sons: Neal Hector and Willard Hector
Daughter: Sharon Fisher
12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by:
Her husbands: Edgar "Slim" Hector in 1990 and Deane Baker in 2020
Son: Bobby Hector
Daughter: Darlene Hollowell
Grandson: Robby Hector

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Bell Cemetery south of Stratford. Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 1:30 pm-5:00 pm at Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
