Brenda Joyce Cornell of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Cletus Gene and Geraldine (Russell) Posey on August 28, 1964 in Thibodaux, Louisiana and passed from this life on June 17, 2021 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years.
Brenda grew up a in Selma, Alabama and spent some time in Huntington Beach, California. Brenda eventually made her home in Elmore City, Oklahoma where she attended high school. On June 4, 2012, Brenda married Scott Cornell in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She worked in home health care as a caregiver. She was a member of Ekklesia Church of Pauls Valley. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, crusing with her husband, painting with her grandkids, dancing to music and attending her church. The sunshine of her life was her grandkids. She was the best grandma in the world! She taught others to breath in butterflies and blow out bees. Brenda will be remembered as the most loving and wise momma who was humble, kind, loved spreading the word of God. She was a shooting star. She was the love of her husbands life and a dedicated loving wife.
