Billy Ray Archer of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, was born to Earl Glenn and Melba (Cook) Archer on November 26, 1934, in Lyons, Kansas and passed from this life on June 14, 2023, in El Paso, Texas at the age of 88 years.
Bill was a retired educator who served 33 years as a teacher, coach and administrator. Bill received his bachelor's degree in education from Texas Western and his Master of Education from UTEP. Bill worked for El Paso High, Andress, Coronado, Coldwell, Terrace Hills, Crosby and Schuster school systems.
On June 1, 1957, Bill married Glenna LaVerne Pruitt in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
