Betty Jean Adams Etchison, 80, of Pauls Valley, OK was born to Robert Lee and Gearldine Stienitt Adams on July 28, 1940 in Ft. Worth, TX and passed from this life at her daughter's residence on January 22, 2021.
Betty lived most of her life in Texas. She spent her childhood days In Ft. Worth. Betty married L.T. Etchison in Ft. Worth, Tx on May 17, 1954.
She raised her family in Kopperl, Texas where her husband was a farmer. Betty obtained her GED later. She was a seamstress and was employed in sewing factories for many years. When Mr. Etichson learned Floyd Leslie Carter of Wynnewood needed a farm hand the couple moved to Pauls Valley so he could work for Mr. Carter. They spent their closing days here in Garvin County.
The focus of her life was her family and teaching them the ways of the Lord. It was most important for her children to attend church at a very young age; thus today "Her children rise up and call her blessed" as the Bible beautifully spoke.(Proverbs 31:28) Betty faithfully attended Faith Temple Church for 27 years. She also enjoyed going fishing with her husband when possible.

7 Grandchildren & 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, L.T. Etchison in 2016, and her sister, Dorothy Joiner, daughter, Bonnie Jean Etchison and granddaughter: Mandy Jean Etchison.

Funeral services for Mrs Betty are scheduled for Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne, TX. Interment will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family @ www.woosterfuneralhomes.com
