Benne E. Rude of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Jasper Otis and Alice Rude on January 14, 1936 in Turlock, California and passed from this life on June 13, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years.
Benne was born and raised in Turlock, California. He attended Roselawn Elementary and Turlock High School. He played football and baseball. Benne was a member of the Turlock Round Up Club and Cavaliers. On March 18, 1960, Benne married Doris Vivian Killian in Reno, Nevada. Benne and Doris made their home in Oklahoma in 1967 and purchased a laundromat in Pauls Valley. He bought The Pizza Place which became known as Ben's Pizza, a local favorite that was famous for its pizza buffet. Benne was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Mason's. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing gin, watching Dodgers baseball and OU football. The most important things he taught others were to have a great work ethic, good customer service, treat others as you would want to be treated, and the importance of family. Benne loved the Lord and was very thankful for all of his family.

4 Daughters: Carolyn Matthews and her husband Terri, Dorinda Cummings, Terri Hammett, and Melinda Alfred and her husband Steve
Brother: Raymond Rude
15 Grandchildren: Shawn Hennigan, Gabriel Matthews, Caleb Matthews, Christopher Matthews, Kristin Smith, Benjamin Rude, Nathan Humston, William Humston III, Summer Davis, Mercy Hilton, Isaac Hilton, Terra Martinez, Garrett Hammett, Sara Hernandez, and Abigail Alfred, 31 Great-grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild
