Barbara Joan (Digby) Grant passed away on Friday June 6, 2025, in her home in Katie, OK. She was born in Rubottom, OK on Dec 29th, 1940, to Robert A & Pearle Marie (Ficklin) Barrick. She had two sisters, Bonda Breatchel and Bette Shelton.

She married Clifton L Digby on Oct 25th, 1958. Barbara & Clifton had three children, Robert, Joan and Cheryl. They moved their family to Pauls Valley in 1971 where Barbara worked at the Pauls Valley State School until her retirement in 2003.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a kind and generous soul to those in need. She contributed to several philanthropies and always tried to put her family first. Her deep, steadfast and loyal love and support was of paramount importance to her. Barbara was also active in the Oklahoma Women Democratic Party for many years and loved gardening and spending time with her family. Barbara married Duane Grant in 2003 and enjoyed her retirement in Wynnewood and Pauls Valley, OK.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Robert A Barrick & Marie Ficklin Barrick, Husband Duane Grant, Ex-Husband Clifton Digby, sisters Bonda Breatchel & Bette Shelton, her Aunt Billie Ficklin Horn her son Robert L. Digby as well as granddaughters Tiffany Ann & Taylor Dee Christian

Barbara is survived by her daughters Joan Ellen Reese & husband Doug of Austin TX, Cheryl Anne Christian & her husband Brent of Katie, OK, and daughter-in-law Karen Digby of Paoli, OK

Grandson Dylan Christian & wife Ginger of Mustang, OK

Granddaughter Michele Oller of Durant, OK.

Barbara also had 11 great grandchildren that she adored and was extremely close with.
