Mary Amanda Simmons of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Eddie and Helen (Shaw) Harrison on January 14, 1975 in Pratt, Kansas and passed from this life on November 30, 2019 at her home near Pauls Valley at the age of 44 years.
Amanda grew up in Kansas where she was a member of the swim team at Medicine Lodge and played trumpet in high school band. Amanda later obtained her bachelor's degree in business management. On October 10, 2014, Amanda married William Simmons in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul and Guild Master of S. J. In her spare time, she enjoyed embroidery, cross stitch, gardening and quilting. Amanda enjoyed time spent playing Dungeons and Dragons with her family and friends. Amanda taught others to have a sense of humor about every situation and to take a break when you needed it. She will be missed.
