Albert Ray Kalantar was born on June 17, 1942 in Riverside, California to Albert and Ruth (Merriwether) Kirby. Albert passed from this life on November 18, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Kalantar married his soulmate, Freda on March 6, 2009 in Denison, Texas. Growing up he liked to put together model airplanes and he loved restoring old cars. Albert spent 26 years as an aircraft mechanic in the military and retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 2006. Mr. Kalantar always had a good sense of humor and liked to make people laugh, one time a guy even drilled through an aircraft carrier they were working on and it got him in the behind. People were always comfortable enough around Albert to be able to joke around with him and even as much as someone one time unplugged the air hose that he was working with and he wasn't happy about it at first, but then he thought it wasn't funny. He was a good person to be around and always taught others about God. He will be missed by so many.
Albert is survived by his wife; Freda Kalantar of the home and immediate family; Allen Kalantar and wife Faye, Donna Kalantar, Sarah Simmert and husband Rich, Jeremy Simmons, Cameron Harris and wife Garbiely, John Merriwether and wife Martha, Cacey, Michael, Ange, Linda, Irene, Rich Jr., Albert and wife Chrissy, Parker, Camden, Sylvia, Jeff and wife Adrienne, Elizabeth, Isaiah, Elijah, Hannah, Kali and husband Mike, Taylor, Olivia and a baby boy expected by Cameron and Gabriely.
