William Cecil “Skeeter Willie” Carter of Wynnewood, Oklahoma was born to Evert and Ollie (Whitaker) Carter on August 11, 1944 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and passed from this life on January 1, 2014 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years. Skeeter grew up and attended school at Liberty. He served his country in the U. S. Army from 1962 until 1965 in Germany. After returning to Wynnewood from the service, Skeeter owned and operated a truck for forty-seven years. On July 17, 1997, he married Sylvia Sue Albright in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. In his spare time he enjoyed truck driving, singing karaoke, and collecting model trucks and cars. Skeeter loved to tell jokes and loved his Loving Care Girls. Mr. Carter is survived by: Wife: Sue of the home 2 daughters: Lana Teves and husband Ronald of Stratford, Oklahoma Billie Duke and husband Doyle of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma 1 sister: Jearlene Mize and husband Don of Sulphur, Oklahoma 6 grandchildren: Maleaha Knighten &her husband Tony, William Teves & his wife Lea, Maranda Carter, Dakota Duke, Ronald Teves,and Justin Digby 1 step-grandson: Joseph White and wife Sherry 9 great-grandchildren Mr. Carter was preceded in death by: His parents: Evert and Ollie Carter 3 brothers: Charlie Carter, Glenn Carter and Jerry Carter 2 sisters: Patsy Kinard and Mary Carter Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel.
