Peggy R. Palmore entered this life on May 7, 1926, born to Guy Thompson and Bonnie Robertson (Thompson) in Marlow, OK and departed from this life on December 24, 2013. Peggy grew up and graduated high school in Bray, OK. She received her Associates Degree from Cameron University in Lawton, OK. She married Homer Wade Palmore on December 9, 1945 in Marlow, OK and they had two daughters, Vanna Ruth Whitlock and Glynna Lee Scott. Peggy has six-grandchildren and 12- great grandchildren. Peggy made a career of loving and serving others. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Norman, OK. She loved cooking and sewing. The highlights of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The most important things she taught others were about God’s love and her love for her savior, Jesus Christ. Peggy had a postive impact on every person she came in contact with. She was always loving and kind and willing to help others. She loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, and soul. Mrs. Palmore is survived by: Daughters: Vanna Ruth Whitlock, Glynna Lee Scott Brother: Andrew Thompson Sister: Nora Brown Six Grandchildren and Twelve Great-Grandchildren Funeral services for Mrs. Palmore are scheduled for Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Immanuel Baptist Church in Norman, OK.
