Paula Torres Long

Paula Torres Long of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born to Doroteo and Juanita (Jimenez) Torres on November 13, 1937 in Cotulla, Texas and passed from this life on December 27, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79. Mrs. Long, along her parents and other migrant workers, travelled most of her youth. At age 16 she contracted tuberculosis. Paula was a seamstress and she enjoyed taking care of children. She was in charge of the church nursery in Conroe, Texas. Paula married Joh Long and made their home in Elmore City, Oklahoma where she operated the nursery at the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Long is survived by: 2 Daughters: Geina Moody of Ft. Worth, Texas Christine Williams of Mansfield, Texas 1 Granddaughter: Karina Salazar of Mansfield, Texas Grandsons: Aaron Moody; Cale Moody and wife Rebecca 1 Great-Granddaughter: Lyla Salazar of Mansfield, Texas Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
