Maydra Johnson

Maydra June Johnson of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Luke and Margaret Ima Jean (Clifton) on February 9, 1943, in Muskogee, Oklahoma and passed from this life on June 21, 2022, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years. Maydra married Jay Johnson on July 7, 1960, in Lone Grove, Oklahoma. She proudly obtained her cosmetology license and owned her own shop for many years. Maydra was a talented painter and enjoyed painting, cooking, and sewing in her spare time. Maydra loved her caring for her family and her animals, with special affection for her grandchildren, and did all she could for them. She taught her family to love others no matter what. She will be missed. Mrs. Johnson is survived by: Daughter: Sissie Keck and husband, Wilroy Daughter-in-law: Joann Johnson Son: Tommy Johnson and wife Suzie Brothers: Jack Clifton and wife Barbra; Jimmy Clifton; Cliford Collins and Eddy Collins Sister: Margaret Flickenger 7 grandchildren: Whitney Gayler and husband Matt; Bradly Keck and wife Alisha; Cody Johnson and wife Shauna; Kenna Kaye Johnson and Jared; Kaytlynn Johnson; Justin Johnson; and Brehanna Johnson 8 great-grandchildren Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by: Husband: Jay Johnson Son: Kenny Johnson Parents: Luke and Imogene Clifton Brother: Bob Clifton Sister-in-law: Debbie Clifton Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23 at the Lone Grove Cemetery, Lone Grove, Oklahoma with Chaplain Tim O’Gwynn officiating.
