Shaw who passed away in November 2017; her father James “Jim” Campbell, mother Edith Sheppard and stepfather James “Shep” Sheppard; and sisters Alberta Brummett and Marquitta Blevins. Linda was a devoted Mom, Nana, Sis, Aunt Linda, and friend. As a profession, Linda served as a deputy court clerk in Garvin County for many years, retiring in 2003 to spend more time with her family and friends. Linda was a long-standing member of the Valley Mother’s Club with whom she loved to go to movies and concerts. Linda made it her mission to make every one of her children and grandchildren feel special; she was always there for athletic events, stock shows, band concerts, graduations, and every special event in their lives. Linda loved to sew, craft, read, and of course - she loved to cook. She was famous for her fried chicken, snickerdoodles, and if you ask her grandchildren, her “puppy chow.” Most importantly she lived a life dedicated to serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The family would like to thank the special people that cared for Linda: Kimber Rowan, Karen Peters, Shela Polk, Healthback Home Health, Dr. John Randolph, Dr. Susan Jones, and numerous other nurses and staff at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Graveside services will be held at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery outdoor pavilion on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. In an effort to gather safely to celebrate Linda’s life, the family asks that all present please wear a mask. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children at 3800 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73112.
